Inauguration of 183 tourism projects with 3000 billion Tomans capital

According to the report of Jahan Sorah, quoted by ISNA, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, with the opening of these projects, 389,751 square meters were added to the country’s tourism capacity and 2,281 job opportunities were created. These projects include 21 hotels, 81 ecotourism residences, 21 traditional inns, 26 tourist complexes and 34 other projects.

In this ritual, eight projects of traditional residence of Javaherian in (Kashan city) of Isfahan province, Behzad traditional canteen in Tehran province, Fasihi traditional canteen in Gilan province, Alaa al-Doulah boutique hotel in Yazd province, Qaraati boutique hotel in Fars province, Iranmanesh tourist complex in the province Kerman, Farazande Hotel in Alborz Province and Sefid Fakhuri Mansion in Golestan Province were opened by the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in the form of a video conference at the same time. And the managers of each of these provinces also spoke about the value and economic and cultural effects of these projects.

Rostam Ghasemi: We are ready to cooperate

Rostam Ghasemi – the Minister of Roads and Urban Development – with whom these projects were inaugurated, said: The Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts can be the source of changes in the country. Work in the fields of cultural heritage and tourism can have an effective role in economic, social and cultural fields. Ghasemi continued: A ministerial meeting was held in Ashgabat two weeks ago, this meeting is dedicated to landlocked countries. Everyone in this meeting agreed that Iran can be a transit for the countries of the region and the world in terms of geopolitics, we have four corridors north, south, east and west. We have 14 thousand kilometers of railways in Iran, but we have not connected the main sources.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development added: There is 200 million tons of cargo capacity in the country, which is a good opportunity for Iran, we should use this capacity well.

He said: With the capacity that our country has in various fields, it can create a big change in the field of tourism. After a year, I tried to get a license in the field of transportation and railway lines so that we can create a huge transformation in the country’s transportation field with this license. Today, when we load a container from India, it must first go to Chabahar, then to Rasht, and then to Azerbaijan, and then to Europe and Finland. It takes between 15 days to go from India to Finland. Ali Asghar Shalbafian – Deputy Minister of Tourism of the country – also emphasized at the simultaneous opening ceremony of these projects, which was held on Wednesday 6th of October 1401 in the amphitheater hall of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, that our vision for the opening of the projects is to facilitate the regulations and exploitation of tourism projects.

He added: One of our serious approaches is economic benefit for investors, whose regulations have been drafted and approved. We hope that by opening the knots for investors, we can play a role in the development of tourism in the country.

Mehrabad airport runway standardization after 80 years

Hamidreza Sidi – Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company – also announced the standardization of the Mehrabad airport runway after 80 years and added: This airport runway will be opened with a standard 100,000 square meter terminal. Signing three memorandums of understanding with the ministries of road and country

After the opening of the projects, three memorandums of understanding were signed between the Vice-President of Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts separately with the Airports and Air Navigation Company of Iran, the Ministries of Roads and the Country, which are aimed at benefiting from all the national and international capacities of the country and development Private sector investment in the lands belonging to the airports company, preserving and spreading the culture of travelers and maritime tourism, as well as improving the safety of maritime traffic in order to make full use of the sea, as well as in order to create tourism facilities and in order to strengthen the necessary coordination in the way of issuing licenses and handing over Lands have been given to qualified investors.
