According to the association, although most destinations’ figures are still below turnover figures for winter 2018-2019, the Maldives has now reached pre-Covid winter half-year turnover levels and Turkey is significantly higher with a 16% increase.

The German Travel Association added in a statement: Germans are making tourist reservations for their vacations, as has been usual since the beginning of Corona, with a much shorter time than in previous years.
