According to the report of jahane-gardesh, quoted by Isna, Abdullah Akarii, the director general of relations between the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and Iran, announced in an interview with Shafaq News that the citizens of the Kurdistan Region can travel to Iran without a visa from tomorrow (Sunday).
He said that this was decided by the Iranian and Kurdistan sides, and the citizens of the Kurdistan Region can go to Iran from all borders and stay in that country for a month.
Akrii noted that according to this decision, the citizens of the Kurdistan Region only need a passport to travel to Iran, and no visa is needed.
She described this decision as an important step for both parties.
